About us

Over the past thirty years the Bronx Puerto Rican Day Parade has grown from a few small groups to international organizations, sponsoring culture activities and nurturing relations with cultural groups from throughout the nation. With the contribution of Businesses and Corporations, we have been able to provide scholarships to our participants, thanks to our friends.

On Sunday, June 4th, 2017; over one hundred and twenty groups from the five boroughs and five different states, will come together with representatives of Puerto Rico, The Caribbean and South America. Together they will march up The Grand Concourse joined by
Cultural Organizations, Unions, Schools, Colleges, Municipal agencies, Businesses and Corporations.

The Bronx is known as “El Condado De La Salsa”, where only the strong survive! There are over 300,000 Puerto Ricans, the largest minority group in the Borough and the largest group of Puerto Rican population found outside of our beloved Island of Puerto Rico.

General Information

The Bronx Puerto Rican Day Parade Inc. is held in September during Hispanic Heritage Month, and is one of the most exciting events in the Bronx. Since it occurs during the beginning of the school year, citywide local colleges, high schools and elementary schools
can join well over 100 participating organizations marching down the famed Grand Concourse.
Additionally, joining us along the Grand Concourse are our corporate sponsors, local small businesses, national/state and locally-elected officials, community members, unions, as well as city and state agencies with local, community-based organizations.
