To all Participants and Directors:
The Bronx Puerto Rican Day Parade, "Our Heritage and Pride" is celebrating thirty-one years in the Borough of The Bronx,
promoting, educating, sharing our culture and traditions with New York City and internationally. Therefore the time has
come and it is wholly appropriate to thank everyone for their help and support.
Thank you, Parade participants, Directors, Boards, CBO’s and elected officials: thank you Bands, Dancers, Singer, all
Performers, Kings, Queens, Princesses and all the many individuals whom represent our community as fathers, mothers
promoting and supporting values family and unity year after year.
We remember our humble beginning and with the help of everyone in the Bronx have grown to now well over one
hundred and ten members strong from throughout the Nation, the Caribbean, South and Central America, We as a
people are humble, but prove our value when we celebrate our Multi-Cultural diversity and join with others who
recognize our contributions and achievements.
I’m sure that our Great, Great Grandparents would be proud that we honor their legacy, memory and sacrifices, we
are surely proud of you, everyone.
This year our theme is: "Our Heritage and Pride” The Parade route is from 188st Grand Concourse to 205st.
In closing and most importantly we wish to inform everyone that we are accepting applications for participants in our
pageants Marchers. So if you have a daughter, niece, granddaughter, son or nephew and are interested please contact

Pageants at 917.345.7313. Kings and Queens come in all ages so don’t miss out join in participate; I promise it’s a
memory you’ll never forget and treasure for the rest of your life.
