Gloria Rodriguez

Ms. Rodriguez is a native of New York City.  She shared her younger years growing up between the Bronx and Puerto Rico, enjoying her time in both locations.  After Taft High School in the Bronx, Ms. Rodriguez entered the workforce head strong.  She always enjoyed watching beauty pageants on television, and decided to try her hand by entering the Bronx Puerto Rican Day Parade Pageant in 2010, where she placed 2nd Princess.  The following year wanting more involvement with pageant work, she became the coordinator and mentor for the "Infantil" group of girls, ages 5-7 years old.  She has not only mentored contestants ages 5-50 years old, but also held the position of judge for many past contests.  Ms. Rodriguez became a board member of the Bronx Puerto Rican Day Parade Inc. in 2015, and has marched on the Grand Concourse proudly in the annual parade for many years.  She has also been involved with the festivals and street events.  Ms. Rodriguez, who also enjoys dancing salsa, cooking and watching Netflix, is honored to be a part of this organization and looks forward to the future with such a great cast of individuals who dedicate their time in making the Bronx Puerto Rican Day Parade the best in New York City.
